Job Positions
As a childcare teacher at YMCA of Corry Child Development Center, we help you explore your age group preference with opportunities to work with our Infants, Toddlers, preschoolers and School age children. You’ll enjoy a warm and supportive environment where you are encouraged to share your passion for early childhood education with children, parents and co-workers.

What you will do as a Childcare Teacher
- Feel a sense of accomplishment as you hear the laughter and experience the wonder of children participating in activities you planned.
- Observe children’s interests and work with co-workers to develop creative ideas for engaging curriculum.
- Record and share children’s triumphs and progress with parents, relating that continued safety and attention to their individual basic care needs is a top priority.
- Communicate with parents on a daily basis, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.

Are you passionate about yoga and inspiring others to live healthier, happier lives? The YMCA is seeking a dedicated and experienced yoga instructor to join our team! As a part-time yoga instructor, you will have the opportunity to lead dynamic and engaging yoga classes for our diverse community.
Requirements:
- Certified yoga instructor with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
- Proficiency in various yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with participants of all ages and fitness levels.
- Knowledge of anatomy and proper alignment techniques to ensure safe and effective practice.
- Availability to teach evening and weekend classes.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead well-structured yoga classes that cater to the needs and abilities of participants.
- Provide modifications and adjustments to accommodate individuals with varying levels of experience and ability.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where all participants feel valued and supported.
- Promote the benefits of yoga and encourage participation in other YMCA programs and services.
- Maintain a clean and organized yoga studio, including setting up and storing equipment as needed.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
